The access road to the facility is being managed properly at this time. 2. Permanent edge of waste markers were visible from one to the next around the operating area. All operations were confined within the under 2-acre operating area. 3. The unacceptable wastes identified in the August 2022 inspection have been removed and properly disposed of. Continue to ensure that unacceptable wastes are removed from the waste stream. 4. Tree limbs and branches are chipped on -site. Leaf material is ground by the leaf pickup machine. The chipped debris and ground leaves are stored in separate windrows to break down. The chipped debris and ground leaves are then mixed and used as mulch. Mr. Harlow stated that he does take temperatures, however, he needs to be more consistent with taking the temperatures. Ensure that the temperatures are documented and reach 131°F for three days in order to meet the pathogen reduction criteria. 5. The site has been mown. A couple of drainage swales were identified following the mowing. Mr. Crowder stated that the drainage swales would be cleaned out to help facilitate the drainage of the operations area. 6. The previously identified low area adjacent to the limb windrow had been filled in and graded to shed water. Mr. Harlow stated that the area had been filled in several times and that they would monitor and repair the area as needed. Continue to ensure that the water is shed from the area. 7. Digital photographs were taken during the inspection. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this inspection report.
