IV. Inspector Comments
V. PHOTOGRAPHS
The Site Inspection was performed to observe H&H’s scheduled vapor barrier inspection.
The barrier being inspected was installed on vertical poured concrete soil contact walls. No
issues were observed with the vapor barrier installation. Double sided tape adhering the
vapor barrier to the previously installed waterproofing barrier (Photos 1 - 3). Once the
vapor barrier was adhered to the waterproofing barrier, gray Raven industries tape was
used along the vertical barrier seams to form a water-tight seal (Photos 1 & 4). As shown in
Photos 4 & 5, drainage board was installed on the soil contact side of the vapor barrier to
channel water away from the wall. The drainage board is adhered to the vapor barrier with
a sealant, and additional sealant is placed at the top where two concrete nails are used to
adhere the mat to the concrete wall, thereby sealing the nail penetrations (Photo 5).
