PHOTOGRAPHS Photo 1: Smoke generating equipment and duct work attached to one of the three VIMS exhaust risers on the western end of the building. The smoke test was begun prior to DEQ personnel arriving onsite to observe the testing. No visible smoke from below the concrete slab was observed while DEQ personnel was onsite, although photos and videos taken by AECOM earlier in the day showed significant smoke from below the slab in the area where air movement was detected during a previous Site Inspection (Photo 7). Photo 3: Checking VIMS riser port for presence of smoke. There was a significant delay from the start of the test, until smoke was observed at riser port prior to being injected below slab.
