STATUS OF PERMIT:
The most recent Yard Waste Notification was submitted to the Section October 26, 2021. The Renewal YWN was not
submitted by the June 1" deadline. The YWN renewal MUST be submitted as soon as possible.
PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT:
Compliance Inspection
STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS:
None.
OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:
None.
The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The facility will accept yard waste from Fuquay-Varina.
2. The facility is secured by a locking gate and berm. The building to house paperwork will be constructed to the left of
the locking gate. Signage will be posted on the building.
3. The site had been mown and sloped to shed water.
4. The yard waste was observed to have been pushed into the adjacent northern tree line and not accessible via vehicle.
It is recommended that the waste be moved away from the tree line to allow for access by firefighting
equipment.
5. The waste stream was relatively clean. One piece of plastic wrapping was observed within the waste stream. Ensure
that any unacceptable wastes are removed from the waste stream prior to applying to your property.
6. The access road is of all-weather construction.
7. Digital photographs were taken during the inspection
8. Corrective measures are required as a result of this inspection and should be completed within 30 days' receipt
o this inspection.
