with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The facility is permitted to take land clearing waste, yard trash, untreated and unpainted wood.
2. The facility is secured by a metal gate and was locked upon arrival.
3. Signage is posted at the entrance to the facility showing the name, permit number, emergency contact information
and the types of material that are accepted. The emergency contact information sign had become damaged due to
being shot. On July 20, 2022, facility staff sent a photograph of a new emergency contact information sign
installed at the entrance of the facility.
4. Access roads were of all-weather construction and were being maintained at the time of inspection.
5. No unapproved material was observed on the working face and the fill slopes did not exceed three to one (3:1)
6. The working face of the landfill was less than one acre and facility staff stated that soil cover is applied monthly
as required.
