Generally, the PM is providing at least an initial review of the VIMS designs and modification
requests, with Kelly Johnson (and occasionally myself) performing a final review if necessary. Please
send any system designs, etc. to the DEQ Project Manager (in this case Bill Schmithorst who I have
copied), and they will make sure it is reviewed in a timely manner.

Please find the attached updated drawings for the Quality Products site on S. Mint Street in
Charlotte. The tenant for the 1513 space is adding an addition to the north side of the building, so
we extended the sub-slab piping under that addition. We also made a few other minor edits to the
drawings including:

Shortened the solid sections of sub-slab piping
Changed the vapor pin monitoring points to permanent PVC monitoring points
Specified GeoSeal EV20 vapor barrier (barrier change previously approved)

As you know, the 1515 space VIMS installation is underway and going well. Since these are two
completely separate spaces and the timing of the VIMS installations are staggered, we will likely
need to complete two separate installation reports. Please review and provide approval at your
earliest convenience. Please do not hesitate to call me with any questions.
