OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:
No violations observed
The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

1. The access roads leading to the disposal area were posted with visible and legible signs stating, "NO
TRESPASSING, SEPTIC LAND APPLICATION SITE".
2. The roads accessing the site were passable.
3. The outer disposal area boundaries were marked on the ground visibly and distinguishably from the
surrounding landscape. The center markers dividing fields 1 and 2 were not visible. Marker need to be
replaced in this area
4. No discharges were noticed outside of the permitted boundaries.
5. Applications appear to be made in accordance with the nutrient management plan.
6. The crop described by the nutrient management plan is present and is being maintained as prescribed.
Hay was being cut on both fields at the time of the site visit where field 2 should be receiving septage in
May according to the NMP. No recent applications were observed on field 2. The rotation schedule
should be followed as closely as possible.
7. No septage applications were made during the site visit.
8. No objectional odors where noticed.
9. Required setbacks appear to be met.
10. Land application records were not inspected at the time of the field inspection
11. This site was inspected in response to a complaint. Please see NCS-00007 inspection report for
5/16/2022 for details. Nothing observed during this site inspection substantiated the complaint.
