Dear Ms. Masemore:

Pursuant to Section 2.v of the Addendum to the Consent Order, notice is given that flooding of the
Cape Fear River in the areas of the Seep flow through cells began early this morning, Friday, March
18, 2022. As of about 7:30am, this morning all 4 cells had been completely inundated by the river
elevation rise. Chemours will monitor the flooding in the area and inspect the flow through cell as
provided in the System Plan once the flooding recedes.
