Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Currently, the Septage Land Application Site consists of Field A.1 (3.5 acres), Field A.2 (9.4 acres), Field B.1 (2.9 acres) and Field B (8.3 Acres) for a total of 24.1 acres. All four fields are established in fescue. 2. The site is permitted for land application of domestic septage (including portable toilet waste) and grease trap pumpings. 3. The site had accessible all-weather roads to the septage land application field covered under the permit. 4. Appropriate signage was displayed at entrance to the fields. 5. All fields had disposal area boundaries that were delineated with permanent markers. The small area of Fields B2 and A1 have been recently regraded but not seeded and the boundary markers replaced. 6. Field B1 was observed in good condition. 7. Field A1 has not been used in a long time and contained cattle. 8. In all the fields, the Nutrient Management Plan (NMP) requires areas with less than 90% ground coverage of fescue be reseeded. 9. No objectionable odors were observed.
