Vertical VIMS barrier overlapping edge of stone visible in photo. Site inspection performed to observe H&H sub-slab piping inspection on the upper level of Building 2. During Site Inspection, VIMS piping and washed stone base appeared to be clean, and in good condition (Photos 1-5). The 2” dia. PVC monitoring points observed were temporary points, with permanent ones to be installed later (Photo 4). This is the second level of Building 2, with lower level having soil contact walls (Photos 1 and 6). The VIMS barrier exposed at the top of these soil contact walls also appeared to be in good condition, with plenty of barrier material available to tie in upper-level horizontal barrier.
