15A NCAC 13B .0566 (2), "Solid waste in the landfill shall be compacted. Slopes shall not exceed a ration of three
horizontal to one vertical at any time."
RESOLVED: The waste has been removed from the from the tree line and placed within the LCID in the northern end
of the clearing. The dead trees that were identified along the eastern side slope had been removed.
15A NCAC 13B .0566 (1), "The site shall only accept those solid wastes that it is permitted to receive."
RESOLVED: The unacceptable wastes previously identified had been removed.

The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The access road is of all-weather construction and appears to be properly maintained.
2. The gates were unlocked, as requested, at the time of this inspection. A new gate had been installed at the roadway
and at the entrance to the facility. The gate was locked at the completion of this inspection.
3. Edge of waste markers had been installed and were visible from one to the next in the northern end of the parcel.
4. The side slopes of the LCID were mown and properly sloped.
5. The waste that had been pushed into the tree line had been removed and placed within the LCID. The dead trees
within the eastern tree line had also been removed and placed within the LCID.
6. The previously identified lime residue and animal bones had been removed from the facility and vegetated.
7. The area had been graded to shed water from the area. A drainage swale was identified along the southern side of
the LCID. Deep erosion rills were noted at the eastern and western ends of the drainage swale. The erosion
rills should be repaired.
8. The large stockpile of dirt previously identified within the area had been removed.
9. Digital pictures were taken during the inspection.
