ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The Septage Land Application Site consists of a 45-acre site which shall maintain a cropping system of rye/ryegrass and sorghum/sudan and is divided into three fields known as Field 1 (13.8 acres), Field 2 (18.6 acres) and Field 23 (12.6 acres).
2. The site is permitted for land application of domestic septage and grease trap pumpings. 3. The site had accessible all-weather roads to the septage land application fields covered under the permit.
4. Appropriate signage was displayed at the entrance to the fields. The fields are also protected by a metal gate.
5. All fields had disposal area boundaries that were delineated with permanent markers which corresponded to the site map with the exception of the area between Fields 2 & 3. Fields 2 & 3 need to be managed as two fields, not as one field. Boundary markers between these fields need to be replaced. 6. Current Set-back/buffer requirements appear to have been met. 7. All of the fields had a good stand of crop.
8. No objectionable odors were observed.
