Hey Jackie,
In accordance with your April 20, 2020 letter regarding the Initial Sediment Boil Evaluation at the subject site, I am
providing the requested monthly update via this email.
1-26-22 Boil Inspection Performed
Once the site became accessible after the 1-16-22 winter precipitation event, an inspection of the boiler are was
performed. No signs of any activity related to the boil area were observed. No other problems were found.
Q1 2022 Routine Cap Inspection Scheduled
The Q1 2022 cap inspection by ERM and RJRT is scheduled for 3-1-22.
RJRT Prepare and Submit a Proposal Regarding the Boil to NCDEQ
RJRT is continuing to work on a proposal to NCDEQ on handling the boil area going forward. We are planning to have
this proposal to you no later than 3-31-22.
