New barrier on-site to replace damaged barrier, no utilities operating within the space, and barrier to be replaced within the next 1-2 days. PHOTOGRAPHS Photo 1: Photograph of vapor barrier pulled back for utility installation within the space. VIMS barrier to be replaced with new material which is visible against side and back wall. During utility installation, VIMS suction piping has been elevated in areas, and excessive amount of soil is around and on VIMS piping and embedded in the geotextile fabric wrapped around the suction line. Piping to be retrenched at a lower level, geotextile fabric removed, and clean #57 stone to be installed around piping. New VIMS barrier to be installed across entire tenant space. Photo 3: Black fabric covered VIMS suction line visible in photograph. As discussed, a new shallow trench will be installed and partially filled with clean stone. Soil smeared geotextile fabric will be removed from suction line prior to it being placed in trench and covered with clean stone and new barrier material.
