ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1) The required signage is present along the access road before you get to the detention tanks.
2) Access road in good shape.
3) The Permit for renewal was issued on 10/29/2021. The Permit issued on 10/29/2021 is for the use of
one 4,500 gallon and two 9,400 gallon above ground metal tanks for the storage of domestic septage.
The previous Permit was for the use of one 4,500 gallon metal tank, three 9,400 gallon metal tanks, one
2,000 gallon concrete pump tank and one concrete screening box for the screening and storage of
domestic septage and grease trap pumpings.
4) During the inspection it was observed that one of the 9,400 gallons steel tank had been cut in half and
another 9,400 gallons steel tank had been replaced by one black steel tank. Previously, there had been
two black steel tanks setting on the other side of the path from the tanks in use. Today, there was just
one black steel tank in the original position on the other side of the path. See pictures below. Any
replacement tank needs to be inspected prior to use. Need to check tanks in use. For safety reasons,
please cover the hole when tank is not in use.
5) The tanks were accessible for inspection. The area around the tanks is maintained so that the tanks can
be inspected for issues.
6) No leaks noticed from the tanks in use.
7) Access hole for the concrete tank needs to be covered for safety reasons. Please cover hole.
8) Septage appears to be handled in at the facility in a way that prevents spills of septage on the ground.
No spills noticed on the tanks or on the ground. Thank you.
9) No odor or vector issues observed.
10) No change noticed that would affect setback distances.
