ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1) The “No Trespassing” sign was posted at the front of the building facing the state road.
2) Access road to the facility is in good shape.
3) The screening tank is located behind the building and has a cover. From the screening tank, the septage
is pumped into two 10,000-gallon stainless steel tanks inside an enclosed building. From the storage
tanks, the septage is pumped to the adjacent building where the septage is dewatered. Facility does not
appear to be used much.
4) Tanks accessible for inspection.
5) No evidence of any holes that may allow the inadvertent escape of septage from the two above ground
steel tanks. No leaks noticed. Tanks were empty.
6) It appears that the septage is transferred to and from the facility in such a manner to prevent spills of
septage from occurring. No spills noticed today.
7) No objectionable odors or vector problems noticed.
8) No changes noticed that would impact setback distances.
9) Records not checked.
