Charlotte, Mecklenburg County Brownfields Project Number 24014-20-060 Dear Mr. Godley,
The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Brownfields Program received and reviewed the Work Plan for Source Area, Soil, Groundwater, and Ambient Air Assessment submitted by Geosyntec Consultants of NC, P.C. for the above referenced site dated November 12, 2021. Based on our review, the Work Plan for Source Area, Soil, Groundwater, and Ambient Air Assessment is approved with the following conditions:
1. that EPA Method 6020 be used for analysis of metals in soil; and
2. water levels be gauged in each temporary well and a potentiometric map be included in
the report.
Be advised that this approval from the Brownfields Program does not waive any applicable requirement to obtain any necessary permits, licenses, or certifications for the above referenced activities nor does it waive any requirement to comply with applicable law for such activities.
