Reminder: The deadline for submitting local government financial assurance tests is November 1, 2004. Time
extensions should be requested in writing. Local government financial assurance tests should include a third
party cost estimate for closure, post -closure, and corrective action. The tests should reflect the estimated costs
of the third party and the current inflation rate.
