Re: Avery County
Dear Julian:
I have discussed the compliance issue with Randall Fletcher. He says that he is aware
of what you want them to do, and that they are in the process of accomplishing this. I
advised him that the County's performance of your requirements is the key to obtaining
the vertical permit for the site. We have not been requested to provide any additional
services at this time. If you know of anything or become aware of anything that will
expedite the issuance of the vertical permit or meeting the Compliance Order, please
advise.
Thank you for your past and continuing cooperation and assistance in this matter.
Very truly yours,

16) The new Commissioners, the County Manager and the Landfill Supervisor will
all meet on a monthly basis with the landfill employees to discuss problems,
etc.
