Dear Mr. Bristol:
The Division of Health Services has received a request for characterization of
the subject waste. Based upon the submitted information, the waste appears to
be non -hazardous. DHS has no objection to the sanitary landfill disposal of
this waste if in accordance with the conditions below:
1. The waste is non -liquid and can be confined, compacted, and covered
in accordance with the "Solid Waste Management Rules".
2. The waste is removed from the drums before disposal.
Failure to meet these conditions may result in revocation of this approval and
an administrative penalty.
