The information for the sanitary landfill site off SR 1101 in Avery
County has been reviewed and the site found suitable for sanitary
landfill use.
Based on the on-psite investigation of June 13, 1972 and the review
of., information submitted concerning the proposed sanitary landfill
operation, approval: is hereby granted for operations meeting the
following conditions;
• That the operations meet the requirements of the North
Carolina State Board of health "Rules and Regulations
Providing Standards for Solid Waste Disposal*"
2. Since the operational plans submitted are limited in
scope the required information for any expansion plans
will be submitted by the agency having jurisdiction
over the site at that time.
