Under separate cover I am sending 25 copies of the Transylvania
County Sanitary Landfill Operational Design and Construction
Plan. Three copies of this plan need to be forwarded to Mr. Jerry
C. Perkins, Assistant Head, Solid Waste and Vector Control Branch,
Sanitary Engineering Section, Division of Health Services, Depart-
ment of Human Resources, Power Office Box 2091, Raleigh, North
Carolina 27602, for approval. The remaining copies are for your
use. You may like to use the enclosed draft letter when you send
these plans to Mr. Perkins.
We have enjoyed working with you and other r tubers of the county
on the landfill design plans. When you are ready for us to begin
working on a countywide collection system as we have previously
discussed, please let us know. If we can be of further assistance
on solid waste matters, please call us.
