Re: Consent Order Paragraph 23 Notification
Dear Ms. Holman,
This letter is to notify the Department that in accordance with Paragraph 23 of the
Consent Order, Chemours is discontinuing delivery of bottled water to those residences where a
GAC system has been installed and sampling has confirmed the effectiveness of that GAC
system. Residents with operational GAC systems that have been demonstrated to be effective
will be informed by letter that they will no longer receive bottled water. Chemours intends to
provide such notifications on an ongoing basis as additional GAC systems are installed and
shown to be effective. If you have any questions, please let me or Christel Compton know.
Sincerely,
Brian D. Long
