Re: Provision of Sampling Results Pursuant to Consent Order Paragraph 22
Dear Ms. Holman,
As you know, this past Monday, March 4th, pursuant to Consent Order Paragraph
22, we provided DEQ with results from residential well sampling conducted prior to the
entry of the Consent Order (and those results had already been shared with the respective
residents). As I noted in my March 4th cover letter to you, due to the size and
confidential nature of the data, we had our consultant, PIONEER Technologies
Corporation, send links to access the data directly to Mr. Michael Scott, and we have not
further distributed the data or posted it on Chemours’ website.
Pursuant to Consent Order Paragraph 22, we are prepared to submit new
residential well sampling results to DEQ that we have received within the past seven
days. These results have already been shared with the respective residents. In submitting
this data, we will follow the same process and protocols as we did on March 4th.
Moving forward, as we continue to receive new residential well sampling results
on a rolling basis, we plan to continue sending that data directly to Mr. Michael Scott and
sharing it with the respective residents, and not further distributing it or posting it on
Chemours’ website. Further, unless requested otherwise, I do not plan to continue
sending cover letters to the full list of notice recipients under the Consent Order each
time we provide new residential well sampling results to DEQ and to residents.
If you have any questions, please let me know.

Sincerely,
Brian D. Long
