Specifically, for qualifying parties under Paragraphs 19 and 20, we plan to install one of the following RO systems: 1. Kinetico K5 Drinking Water Station 2. Kinetico A200 Drinking Water System 3. AO Smith AO-US-RO-MB-4000 The primary RO system we have selected for installation is the Kinetico K5 Drinking Water Station. The Kinetico A200 or AO Smith AO-US-RO-MB-4000 systems may be utilized in the alternative to accommodate specific installation settings. Enclosed here, please find datasheets and documentation for the RO systems listed above. Included in these enclosed materials are slides from a summary of RO performance evaluation completed by Dr. Detlef Knappe of North Carolina State University and presented by Clean Cape Fear on July 31, 2017. These slides show that utilization of the Kinetico K5 system resulted in reductions of all tested compounds to less than 10 parts per trillion. We would appreciate receiving your approval of our proposed RO systems as soon as possible, so that we may proceed with installation under the Consent Order. If you have any questions or need further information, please let me know. 2 Sincerely, Brian D. Long Plant Manager Chemours – Fayetteville Works Enclosure Cc: William F.
