Summary: Per the February 21, 2019, letter from Ft. Knox Statesville LLC, and its attached
engineering certifications, a polyethylene vapor barrier was installed below the office
area prior to pouring concrete, and the HVAC system for the 600 ft2 office was balanced
per Alamance Consulting Engineers. The only vapor mitigation activities performed that
were visible at the time of the Site Inspection was the caulking of floor cracks and
penetrations in the concrete floor slab within the warehouse. Caulking in several areas
was checked, and it appeared to be in good condition (Photographs 5 and 6).

Summary: Former brick industrial/warehouse building removed, and steel framed/sided
warehouse building erected and operating as Fort Knox Indoor RV Storage. Additional
RV's are also stored on northern portion of property on asphalt parking area. The
building is primarily open although there is an enclosed office on the southeastern corner
of the building.

IV. Inspector Comments
V. PHOTOGRAPHS
Photo 1: Southern end of building bordering Wilson Park Rd.
No chemicals other than soap was observed at the property, and no oil or fuel leaks from
RV's being stored was observed at the time of the inspection. During the Site Inspection,
several of the warehouse doors were open, or partially open, with a large fan being used
to blow air into the warehouse portion of the building.
