Summary: Active 8-fan VIMS installed within enclosed portion of stadium, and passive
VIMS installed within Ticket Booth building. During Site Inspection, checked condition of
VIMS, which consists of active fans, low vacuum alarms, liquid filled U-tube manometers,
and vapor pins to measure vacuum influence (Photos 2-6). Generally, the VIMS was in
good condition, with the exception of missing labeling on some of the risers on the
Stadium VIMS (Photo 6), and a missing passive turbine on the Ticket Booth VIMS riser
(Photo 7).
Summary: N/A
Summary: Truist Point baseball stadium present on the brownfield’s property.

IV. Inspector Comments
V. PHOTOGRAPHS
Photo 1: High Point Multi Stadium (Truist Point Stadium)
Site visit performed because property has not previously been inspected by BPMU, and to
inspect condition of the VIMS installed. Generally, the VIMS appeared in good condition
with the electric fans, audible alarms, U-tube manometers, and vapor pins working as
designed. There were two items that needed to be addressed based on discrepancies
with the As-Built drawings submitted by EAI South. The first item is that additional riser
labeling needs to be installed on the stadium VIMS risers (Photo 6), with the second item
being the Ticket Booth building did not have a rooftop passive turbine installed as
identified in the As-Built drawings.
Although it was confirmed that one of the two PVC risers present on the Ticket Booth
building was a sewer vent line, the inspector is not certain that the other riser is part of
the VIMS (it is not labeled, turbine was not installed, there is no location within the
building where the riser is visible, and its location is not correct per the Ticket Booth
rooftop As-Built drawing (Photo 8). Recommend confirmation testing be performed by
applying a vacuum to the riser (Shop-vac or other temporary fan) and measuring vacuum
influence by checking sub-slab vapor pins within the Ticket Booth building.

Photo 4: Checking vacuum influence accross hallway from weight room suction point where
some water was present in suction line (audible, and u-tube manometer vacuum was
fluctuating). Vapor pin indicated 0.09 “WC or 22.4 pascals of vacuum influence.

Photo 7: Climbing onto Ticket Booth Roof to check VIMS riser.
Photo 8: No turbine vent on VIMS riser. Determined PVC riser on the left is a sewer vent. It
appears the PVC riser on the right is the VIMS, however, there is no turbine or labeling, and it is
not in the correct location according to rooftop As-Built Drawing.
