IV. Inspector Comments
V. PHOTOGRAPHS
Photo 1: Western construction site exit onto Woodlawn St. Asphalt millings have been added
to the rock previously present, and the area has been greatly expanded since the prior site
inspection.
The Site Inspection was a result of a citizen complaint regarding excess soil spread on
Carson and possibly Woodlawn streets due to site construction.
According to Mr. Kurt Kozlowski, the Ironhead Construction Superintendent, the site is
sprayed down as needed using a water hog for dust suppression. In addition, asphalt
from the section of Carson St. that was relocated has been ground up, and the asphalt
millings were added to both construction exits (Photo 1), and spread on-site forming
“roads” for construction vehicles to reduce dust levels, and to minimize the amount of
soil in vehicle tire treads prior to them leaving the property (Photos 6 and 7). This has
been performed since my last Site Inspection on October 20, 2021. Mr. Kozlowski also
stated that the paved roads are cleaned as needed with a street sweeper they have on-
site to minimize soil present on Carson and Woodlawn Streets.
