THIS DEED, made this the llth day of July, 1975, by HOMER R.
THOMASON and wife, THELMA THOMASON, parties of the first part, to
the TOWN OF CANTON, a municipal corporation of North Carolina,
party of the second part;
W I T N E S S E T H:
THAT said parties of the first part, in consideration of
TEN DOLLARS and other good and valuable considerations, to them
paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold, and by these
presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said party
of the second part, its successors and assigns, a certain tract
or parcel of land in Beaverdam Township, Haywood County, North
Carolina, and more particularly described as follows:
FIRST TRACT: BEING Tract No. 25 of the property of Mrs. J.
at'hers on Dutch Cove Road, as subdivided for C. J. Jeffress
Realty Company, as per map and survey made of said lands of
T. C. Dobson, Surveyor, said map being registered in the Office
of the Register of Deeds for Haywood County in Map Book A, page .

SECOND TRACT: BEGINNING at a stake in the S.W. corner of Lot #25
and runs—Vi—th the line of said Lot N. 7° W. 89 feet to a stake;
thence S. 17° W. 80 feet to a stake in the South line of Lot No.
24; thence with the South line of said Lot S. 73° E. 36 feet to
the BEGINNING. BEING a part of Lot No. 24 of the Mrs. J. Smathers]
land, as per map and survey of T. C. Dobson, whip map is of record!
in the Office of the Register of Deeds of Haywood County, in Map
Book A, page 42.
THIRD TRACT: BEING Tracts. Nos. 15, 16, 17, and 18 of the survey
made y�'Ir.—C. Dobson of the lands of Mrs. J. Smathers (Loula
Smathers) tract of -land for C. J. Jeffress, a copy of the said
plat and map being duly registered in the Office of the Register
of Deeds of Haywood County, N. C., to which reference is hereby
made for a full and complete description by metes and bounds,
Map Book A, page 42.

FOURTH TRACT: BEING Lot No. 19 of•the Mrs. J. Smathers land as
subdi`vi3e`dTiy C. J. Jeffress Realty Company by T. C. Dobson, a
map and plat of which is recorded in the Office of the Register
of Deeds of Haywood County, in Map Book A, page 42, reference
to which map and plat is hereby made for a full and complete des-
cription by metes and bounds of said lot.
