Dear Mr. Kirby:
On May 10, 1982 and August 16, 1982, I inspected the Canton landfill,
Canton, NC. This letter is to notify you that the following violation of
the North Carolina Solid'Waste Management Rules was recorded on these two
consecutive inspections:
-Failure to prevent impounded water over waste
DHS Rule .0505(12)
We are requiring that you correct this violation by September 15, 1982.
Any violation of the Solid Waste Management Rules is subject to ad-
ministrative penalties or injunctive action pursuant to General Statute
130-166 21E.
