After reviewing the sediment control plan on November 20, 1979
wlt,% you, Mr. Jim 1,bore and 11r. IlUchaxd Tennant at your request, you
asked that I take written recommendations to you.
All recommendations which we discussed are explained in the sedi»
meant control plan dated fay 30, 1979. As was explained in the plan,
n-i tenance of all structures is essential.
It was pointed out by Mr. Jim Moore that a wet weather stream
is f1miing through the landfill and requested that it be diverted
along the northern edge of the landfill.
Standards and specifications for sediment control basins are
attached to the sediment control plan. Again, required maintenance
is essential to the success of this project. Some training for the
machinery operator might prove to be of significant value. Once
he is convinced of the necessity of such practices and know how to
implement these, he could help to reduce sedimentation significantly.
Sincerely,
o
r
Larry L. HeDdrit
