This is concerning our phone conversation this date reference
the samll fire at our C&D Landfill in Avery County.
When the employees at the landfill went to work on Pbndav morning,
June 2, 1997, they noticed some thin smoke coming from the vicinity
of our C&D Landfill. ?•men they arrived they found that someone
had set some brush and wood on fire over the weekend and the fire
was already out because of the rainy weather. It had only burned
a small portion of the material that was there.
There is no way of knowing what took place over the week -end and
caused this to happen.
