On August 25, 2021, David Powell and Drew Hammonds representing the State of North Carolina, Division of
Waste Management Solid Waste Section (Section) inspected the above referenced facility. The subsequent
inspection report detailed several areas of concern that needed corrective action, and these items were also discussed in a September 15th permitting meeting. On October 20, 2021, you provided information to the
Section of the County’s efforts to address these matters.
This letter serves to confirm that the requirements necessary to facilitate compliance signoff on the pending
permit action have been satisfied. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and please continue to address
any remaining operational items at this facility detailed in the report. Likewise, this letter does not address compliance related items at other Moore County permitted facilities in reports sent to you on September 10th.
