Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Discussed that the two additional tanks (10,000 & 21,000 gallons) located within the concrete containment area shall not be utilized until holes located in the back wall have been sealed, PE calculations regarding the containment volume & dimensions have been provided and approval has been granted by the Division as per Permit Condition 7. One of these tanks is still slightly tilted. 2. All the tanks appear structurally sound. 3. It appears that septage is being transferred to/from the facility in a safe and sanitary manner. No spills or leaks were noted. No apparent vectors or odors. 4. It appears that the approved setbacks are being met. 5. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate. 6. The required 5 foot cleared radius (free of excess vegetation or debris) around the storage tanks shall be maintained. Vegetation has been cleared from the unloading area up top and from around the side areas. However, there is excess vegetation between some of the tanks and also inside the concrete containment area. 7. Thank you for your time.
