Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) The required signage was present. Need to make sign more stable. One of the posts is missing. Also, need to keep the vegetation down by the sign. 2) The access road was in good shape. 3) It appeared that most of the required markers were present. No material such as wood chips or equipment was within the permitted boundaries of the Field. 4) No septage discharges noticed outside of the permitted boundaries. Nick said that the site is not in use at this time. Thus, no septage applications to the Field. 5) No recent applications noticed. 6) Fescue stand was good. Nick was working to improve the stand of fescue in one area where the stand needed improving. Usually, the fall and spring is the best to plant fescue. 7) No objectionable odors noticed today. 8) Reviewed with Nick the permit and Nutrient Management Plan (NMP). 9) I need a copy of the Soil Report for the soil sample taken last fall. Please email a copy to chester.cobb@ncdenr.gov. 10) Was raining when finishing the inspection. 0BRequired signage present. Need to make more stable.
