PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Routine
STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: An observed violation was noted to Rule .0838(k) for “No Trespassing” sign missing on the 04/09/2020
inspection. A “No Trespassing” sign was seen however, the sign was on the ground by the tank. Please
place sign back up. See picture below.
OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:
NONE
The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and
any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1) This facility consists of one above ground 1,500-gallon concrete tank.
2) The “No Trespassing” sign was on the ground by the tank. Please place the sign back up by the tank.
3) Access road to tank in good shape.
4) The tank was accessible for inspection.
5) No leaks of septage noticed from the tank. No signs of weakness noticed in the tank.
6) It appears that the septage is transferred to and from the facility in such a manner to prevent spills of
septage from occurring. No spills noticed today on the tanks or on the ground by the tanks.
7) No objectionable odors or vector issues noticed today.
8) No change noticed that would affect setback distances.
