The field needs harvested (in accordance with the 30 day waiting period) and the rye cover crop planted (per the approved nutrient management plan) so that land application may occur this winter. Noted hay bales located along the tree line – if this hay is from the septage disposal field then these hay bales need to be removed from the perimeter of the site. 2. The field markers appear accurate. It appears that the approved setbacks are being met but setbacks were not measured at this time. 3. No sign of land application outside the permitted boundaries. The system was positioned on the field during this visit. No sign of heavy or recent application. No odors noted. 4. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate. 5. If you have not already attended a continuing education class this year then please register for one of the remaining locations in 2021. 6. Since an onsite meeting with the operator was not possible at this time please submit a few pages of the land application site logs for review.
