Any photos included in this report were taken by Susan Heim on September 16, 2021, during the inspection. 2. The purpose of this inspection was to ensure that proper signage had been posted at the facility entrances as required by 15A NCAC 13B .0405(e)(4). 3. Deficiencies were noted in the signage posted at the facility entrances during an inspection on October 15, 2020. The same deficient signage was again observed during the most recent inspection on August 19, 2021. Existing signage had not included the facility permit number or emergency contact information. During the August 19, 2021 inspection, Dusty Curry, Solid Waste Superintendent, had explained that staffing and supply problems caused by the pandemic had continually delayed the new signage, which he had ordered immediately following the October 15, 2020 inspection. 4. Mr. Curry stated, in a telephone conversation prior to this inspection, that new signage had been completed and posted on September 15, 2021, as required by the corrective measures specified in the August 19, 2021 inspection report. 5. Proper signage was observed at the facility entrance during this inspection. 6. In addition, Mr. Cabiness provided access to the facility permit and operations plan that are now maintained at the transfer station office and available for review upon request, as required by 15A NCAC 13B .0405(d).
