Richardson of the University of South Carolina, the third party contractor approved by DEQ for this work. Due to delays caused by the initial onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, DEQ previously granted an extension to June 30, 2021, by letter dated June 17, 2020. Since that time, the pandemic has continued to impact Dr. Richardson’s laboratory, limiting its capacity and slowing its work.1 Accordingly, Chemours hereby requests an additional six-month extension, to December 31, 2021. Please see the enclosed letter from Dr. Richardson in support of this request. If you have any questions, please contact me at Dawn.M.Hughes-1@chemours.com. Sincerely, Dawn M.
