Dear Ms. Holman: 

Pursuant to Section 2.v. of the Addendum to the Consent Order, notice is given that the Seep C flow through cell is 
currently underwater due to flooding from the Cape Fear River.  This condition impedes the operation of the flow 
through cell as provided in the Interim Seep Remediation System Plan.  As shown below, the cell is submerged by 
water.  Chemours will monitor the flooding in the area and inspect and maintain the flow through cell as provided in the 
System Plan once the flooding recedes. 

Maintenance had been performed on Seep C (carbon in FB1 mucked out and re‐raked) following the flooding event of 
December 2020 and was running by 15:00 on 29 December 2020.  However, yesterday, January 3, 2021, levels in the 
Cape Fear River again flooded the Seep C unit.
