Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. The inspection was conducted at the I-26 NC Welcome Center, Polk County, North Carolina. 2. The following firm truck was inspected: Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) SC Tag Number Capacity (gallons) IHTMMAAL15H687621 P809120 2000 Photo taken by Troy Harrison on 8/17/2021 3. The tank appeared to be structurally sound and bolted to the frame. 4. Valves and access ports appeared to be secure. Caps were present on the access ports. 5. The truck was properly marked in accordance with the lettering requirements with the exception of the town name. This vehicle cannot pass inspection and a permit not issued until the town name (Spartanburg, SC) is placed on both sides of the vehicles. The lettering must be six inches or larger. Once the required lettering has been placed on the vehicle, you will need to submit a photo with a ruler next to the new lettering documenting compliance to: troy.harrison@ncdenr.gov . 6. If you have not already done so, please submit WWTP disposal authorizations to chester.cobb@ncdenr.gov . 7. A reminder, as a new septage management firm in North Carolina, this vehicle cannot be used in North Carolina until a permit is issued by the Solid Waste Section.
