Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. This facility consists of one 1,550-gallon plastic tank for the storage of portable toilet waste, including
waste from recreational vehicles. Storage or treatment of any liquid or solid waste other than those specified in the approved application for this permit is prohibited.
SDTF-56-03 2. The tank appeared to be empty. 3. A “No Trespassing” sign needs to be placed on the tank per state regulations.
4. The tank was clear of vegetation. 5. Vectors were not present at the time of inspection nor were objectionable odors observed.
6. The current permit has an expiration date of September 22, 2022 and has Mark Mercier listed at the contact on page one. The permit renewal will need be issued with a current responsible party at that time.
