No Permit required until 2026. PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Comprehensive Facility Compliance Inspection. STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: None OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: None The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 01 – Only Land Clearing waste was noted on site during this inspection. 02 – Land Clearing waste has adequate cover being applied. 03 – Need to measure this facility to ensure that less than 2 acres used (as noted on last inspection report). Add Edge of waste markers AS NOTED ON LAST INSPECTION IN 2020. 04 – Update signage. 05 – Replace locking cable for security at facility entrance to ensure safety. 06 – Work has been done on South side slopes to achieve no greater than a 3:1 slope. 07 – Remember this site will need to apply for a PERMIT within 5 years. New rules were emailed to Alan Owens along with the Inspection report for N0066 that was conducted on 7/21/2021. 08 – Facility is not for public use. Owens Construction only at this time. 09 – Facility is on property of an active racetrack. Main entrance has locking gate and fencing. 10 – Overall management of this facility is good. Minor upgrades needed above.
