Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 AREAS OF CONCERN AND COMMENTS: 1) Required signage present along both access roads before reaching site. 2) Access road was in good shape. 3) Markers present. 4) No application issues noticed. 5) No septage discharges noticed outside of the permitted boundaries. 6) The small grain had been planted in all 3 fields and was up. Septage application can be made on Fields 1a, 1b, and 2 based on the coverage of the small grain crop and as covered in Permit Condition 7. In particular for Fields 1b and 2, Permit Condition 7 states in part that “For Fields 1b and 2, applications shall only occur between the months of October thru March at a maximum annual application rate of 23,000 gallons per acre per year…” Field 1a was opened to septage applications prior to today based on the coverage of hybrid bermudagrass. 0BSmall grain had been planted in all 3 fields and was up.
