OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: N/A The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1.The access roads leading to the disposal area were posted with visible and legible signs stating, “NO TRESPASSING, SEPTAGE LAND APPLICATION SITE". 2.The roads accessing the site were passable. 3. The disposal area boundaries were discernable from the surrounding landscape. 4. No discharges were noticed outside of the permitted boundaries. 5. Applications appear to be made in accordance with the nutrient management plan. 6. The crop described by the nutrient management plan is present and is being maintained as prescribed.Numerous haybales remain in overgrown areas around the perimeter of the fields. Hay bales should beremoved from permitted site and not be allowed to accumulate. Old haybales discarded in wooded areas and buffer areas adjacent to the permitted fields should be removed from the site as well.7.No septage applications were made during the site visit. 8. No objectional odors where noticed. 9.Required setbacks appear to be met. 10. Land application records were being kept and were submitted for inspection.
