PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT:
Partial Facility Compliance Inspection without records review
STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS:
None applicable
OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:
No violations were observed during this Facility Compliance Inspection; please see ADDITIONAL COMMENTS section below.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
1) This Facility is a closed MSW Landfill, Landclearing and Inert Debris Landfill Notification, tire collection site, and
Temporary Disaster Debris Management Site.
2) The site is secured by a locked gate at the Facility entrance.
3) The Facility access road is of all-weather construction and is being well maintained at this time.
4) The LCID Landfill Notification is currently inactive.
5) All vegetative waste brought on site is staged for grinding at the Yard Waste Notification element, notification #YWN-
07-002. *Please see Facility Compliance Inspection YVVN07002-20140724INSP.
6) The Scrap Tire Management Area was reviewed.
7) All scrap tire collection and management activities have been moved to the new Scrap Tire Management Area.
8) All scrap tires are placed in the concrete bunker lined collection area until placed into the transfer trailer for transport to
Central Carolina Tire, permit #43-04 in Cameron, NC for final disposal.

9) An adequate number of trailers are maintained on -site for the volume of tires managed by this Facility.

14) Brush, small trees, and other woody vegetation were observed growing in the he surface water ditch on the western side
of the landfill. *Please removed all brush, trees, and other woody vegetation from this area and ensure that all Facility
surface water ditches are maintained clear of brush and other obstructions.
