OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: NONE The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) This Septage Land Application Site consist of one – 10.5 field with fescue as the crop. 2) The required signage present as you enter the site. 3) The site is accessible. The access road was in good shape. 4) Markers present and visible. 5) No septage discharges noticed outside of the permitted boundary. 6) No application issues noted. No ponding of septage, spot dumps or heavy applications noticed. No ruts noticed. 7) Fescue present in the field. Fescue needs to be replanted. Need to remove the hay bales from around the edge of the field. 8) No application at time of inspection. pH not checked. 9) No objectionable odors observed. 10) Setbacks and records not checked. 11) Dropped off soil sample boxes at the office. 0BRequired signage present as you enter site. 1BHay bales present along the edge of the field.
