ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The town wants to have this location approved as a temporary disaster debris storage site. An evaluation of the
site was conducted.
2. This facility will stockpile yard waste wood, grass clippings, shrubbery pruning, stumps and tree leaves not to
exceed 6000 tons per quarter.
3. There was a small amount of unacceptable waste observed mixed in with the yard waste during this inspection.
Remove unacceptable waste as it is observed and dispose of it properly.
4. The facility will be cleaned out monthly according to town staff.
5. City staff load waste onto Terra Blue trucks and it will be transported to Terra Blue for composting.
6. There are some areas where the leaves were stockpiled that need grading to promote positive drainage of water
away from the waste.
7. Areas of depression where the site had been recently been filled and leaves spread out should be graded.
8. Do not spread anymore leaves across this site.
