Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. The Septage Land Application Site consists of one field with 4.1 usable acres. 2. The field is permitted for land application of domestic and grease septage. 3. The field had an accessible all-weather road. 4. Appropriate signage was displayed at the entrance. 5. The field had disposal area boundaries that were delineated with permanent markers. 6. No recent land applications were observed. 7. No standing liquid or pooled waste was observed. 8. No objectionable odors were observed. 9. As a reminder, Nutrient Management Plan for this field states that fescue is the established crop. Areas that develop with less than 80% groundcover with fescue must be reseeded. Waste must be evenly distributed throughout the field.
