Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

1. The three above-ground 1,550-gallon plastic tanks for a total capacity of 4,650 gallons for the storage of domestic septage and portable toilet waste that were located at 5384 Bolick Road, Claremont, NC have been
relocated to 4848 South Depot Street, Claremont, NC.

2. A permit application was submitted during the inspection.
3. Each tank was posted with a ‘No Trespassing” sign.

4. Based on the Catawba County GIS, the new location (and building) consists of two properties under the same ownership.
5. The tanks were moved during the inspection to comply with North Carolina rules regarding buffer requirements.
6. No one other than the permittee or an employee of B-Line Portable Restroom Rentals, Inc. may discharge septage at this detention facility.
7. This facility may not be used until a permit is received by the Division. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this inspection report.
